Class of 2024 Learning Lab I Focus
During Learning Lab I, the Class of 2024 will explore leadership in relation to health care in North Carolina. Specifically, they will evaluate how socioeconomic status, location, systemic racism, gender, and policy affect different health care systems and explore how leaders in various sectors can work together to create an organized health care community capable of addressing complicated issues. They will discuss the importance of integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with social science, learn how leaders analyze complex problems to identify short- and long-term solutions, and determine how leaders develop relationships and demonstrate compassion to better understand and serve the health care needs of their constituents.
