Service Raleigh is an annual citywide day of service started in 1998 by NC State’s Student Government and Park Scholars. Each year, volunteers from the university and surrounding community unite to undertake a variety of projects, each of which provides much needed assistance to local organizations.
This year, we’re partnering with local organizations on Saturday, April 6, to address the needs of our community, to foster a sense of community spirit and to inspire our volunteers to a lifetime of involvement in public service.
The day will kickoff at the Talley Student Union at 8 a.m. Volunteers will then head to their respective organization’s site. Volunteers will be alerted about their site’s location the week of Service Raleigh.
