Park Scholarships Welcomes Alexa DeFalco

Alexa DeFalco

Park Scholarships is pleased to welcome Alexa DeFalco as the program’s graduate assistant.

DeFalco graduated from NC State University in May 2020. She earned a B.S. in general education with minors in nonprofit studies and women and gender studies. During her time as an undergraduate, she served as the Panhellenic President, worked as a University Ambassador, and conducted research in the College of Education. She was selected as a Caldwell Fellow and became heavily involved in that program. DeFalco also took on the role of director of development for Our Wave, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in higher education administration.

DeFalco is thrilled to join the Park Scholarships staff. As the program’s graduate assistant, she will assist with many enrichment activities including Freshman and Senior Retreat, Learning Labs, and Freshman Seminar. DeFalco is enthusiastic about meeting each of the Park Scholars and the wider Park community. Feel free to set up a Zoom meeting or contact her at ardefalc@ncsu.edu.
