St. Patrick’s Day Drive: Students v. Blood Cancer
As part of the Park Scholarships Civic Engagement Initiative with DKMS (formerly known as Delete Blood Cancer), Charlotte DeVol ‘19 and Christian Rust ‘19 invite you to show your support for individuals fighting blood cancers by attending the St. Patrick’s Day Drive: Students v. Blood Cancer. This special event, open to the public and featuring guest speakers and live entertainment, will be held on NC State’s Stafford Commons (adjacent to Talley Student Union) on Friday, March 17 from 5-8 pm. DKMS is an international nonprofit dedicated to fighting blood cancers and other blood related diseases by raising awareness, encouraging people to register for the national bone marrow registry, fundraising to match donor registration costs, assisting patients in need, and supporting research to improving treatment.
20th Annual Service Raleigh
Interested in getting your hands dirty for a few hours to benefit the Raleigh community? If so, register now to participate in the 20th annual Service Raleigh on Saturday, April 1! The opening ceremony begins at 8:15 am that day, and volunteer responsibilities conclude by 1:30 pm.
Service Raleigh Alumni Luncheon
The Service Raleigh 2017 committee invites all past committee members, chairs, and participants to join them for a 20th anniversary celebratory lunch with Service Raleigh co-founder, Melanie Andres Conklin ‘00. The lunch will held at H Street Kitchen on April 1, the day of Service Raleigh. RSVP by March 20 to commemorate this important milestone!
