Lauren Caddick ‘14 was named one of the ten seniors of the year by the Charlotte Observer. Seniors were nominated by area high school guidance counselors for their academic performance, character, and civic involvement.
A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, Caddick will graduate from Forestview High School where she is president of the National Art Honor Society, president of the International Thespian Society, and secretary of the National Beta Club. She is also the recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award and has spoken to members of Congress on the importance of art in education.
Caddick will join the Park Scholars Class of 2014 this fall and plans to major in art and design.
