Congratulations on being named a Finalist for the Park Scholarships Class of 2028! This website provides information about Final Selection Activities. Please review the details carefully.

Reminder: RSVP by 8 a.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 29, via the link provided in your notification email or via the wolfPAW portal.

Final Selection Activities are held on campus and will feature a variety of opportunities for Finalists to learn more about NC State and the Park Scholarships program. Candidates will meet current Park Scholars, NC State and Park Scholarships alumni, NC State faculty and administrators.

Candidates will participate in two assessments on Saturday, Feb. 17 – an interview and a group discussion task. Each assessment will be based on the four selection criteria: scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Need-Based Travel Stipends
The Park Scholarships office has limited funds available to assist candidates with travel who could not otherwise attend Final Selection Activities. Please email parkscholars@ncsu.edu as soon as possible, but no later than 8 a.m. ET, on Monday, January 29, detailing specific items requested with estimated costs for each and the total amount requested. Requests will have no bearing on the selection process.
