20 Years Strong!
The 2015-2016 academic year marks an important milestone, as the Park Scholarships program is celebrating its 20th year at NC State!
To recognize this landmark anniversary, we hope to bring together as many members and friends of the Park community as possible for a series of events:
Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 – Krispy Kreme Challenge Eve Open House
Join us in celebrating the dozenth anniversary of NC State’s beloved tradition of “2400 calories, 12 doughnuts, 5 miles, 1 hour,” initiated and led by Park Scholars.
When: 5-7 pm on Friday, Feb. 5
Where: Peele Hall, located on NC State’s North Campus
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 – The 12th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge
Participate in this unique challenge of athletic and gastrointestinal skill! Proceeds benefit the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.
Friday, Apr. 1 through Saturday, Apr. 2, 2016 – sPark: A Park Scholarships Symposium
Connect. Be inspired. Find your sPark.
Join Park Scholars, alumni, faculty, families, and friends for sPark: a two-day leadership and networking symposium. sPark is an opportunity to think big, discuss the issues of our time, and celebrate 20 years of Park Scholars’ accomplishments. Registration will open in early 2016. The event will be sponsored in part by the NCSU Foundation in support of the Park Scholarships program.
Saturday, Apr. 9, 2016 – The 19th Annual Service Raleigh
Sign up to volunteer alongside 2,000 others on this day of service to the Raleigh community. Or, should your organization wish to host a group of volunteers to complete a project, you may sign up as a Service Raleigh Partner.
