The Park Scholarships program at North Carolina State University has selected 292 Semifinalists for the Class of 2019 – the twentieth class of Park Scholars. Candidates were selected from an exceptionally talented pool of nearly 1,800 applicants based on outstanding accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Small groups of NC State and Park alumni will conduct interviews with Semifinalists, either in person or by phone, on January 10-11.
Semifinalists will be notified of their status on January 28. Approximately 100 Finalists will be invited to the NC State campus to participate in Final Selection Activities on February 20-21.
Following careful review of their application materials and performance in Semifinalist interviews and Final Selection Activities, all Finalists will be notified of their status on March 5.
The Park Scholarships program will announce the Class of 2019 in mid-May.
The Park Scholarships are named for the late Roy H. Park ‘31, an NC State alumnus who created the charitable Park Foundation, dedicated to education, media, and the environment. Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded this year to outstanding high school seniors for undergraduate study in any discipline at NC State.
