From the Interim Director, Joy Tongsri

Joy Tongsri

Happy New Year! We are excited to hit the ground running (literally and figuratively) in 2018.

On January 6 and 7, approximately 250 Regional Selection Committee members will interview 390 outstanding Semifinalists for the Class of 2022 in nine cities and by phone. We are deeply appreciative of our interviewers' time spent speaking with these ambitious, service-oriented thinkers and doers—like the individuals featured in this newsletter—who could become the newest members of the Park Scholarships community.

If improved fitness is among your goals for the year but you can’t resist indulging your sweet tooth on occasion, consider registering for the 14th annual Krispy Kreme Challenge, which will be held on Saturday, February 3. We hope many of you will join us on campus for an open house on the eve of the race, which benefits the UNC Children’s Hospital.
