Luke Zettlemoyer ’00 Named Assistant Professor at the University of Washington

Luke Zettlemoyer ‘00 joined the faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington this fall. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Zettlemoyer will continue his research on artificial intelligence. During his time at NC State, Zettlemoyer was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, along with the Bitzer Creativity Award, the Undergraduate Mathematics Fellowship, and the Computer Research Association Outstanding Undergraduate Award. Professor Padilla Receives Holladay Medal

Dr. Art Padilla, instrumental in the establishment of the Park Scholarships at NC State, was recognized for his contributions to the university.
