Madeline Finnegan ’18, will be continuing her involvement with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York full-time after she graduates in May. In summer of 2017, Finnegan worked as a Summer Research Analyst where she contributed as part of the Financial Intermediation team. She interned with economist Anna Kovner on a research project about housing mobility surrounding the 2008 financial crisis.
There is a modern adage that many students who are entering college today will graduate into jobs that don’t exist yet. The same could be said of Ben Darnell who, subsequent to completing his undergraduate degree in computer science from NC State in 2002, launched his career at Google – a company that was founded mere weeks after Darnell began college in 1998.
