The Park Scholarships program at NC State is excited to announce the Class of 2030. The class was selected from a highly competitive pool of over 3,110 applicants for their exceptional potential to make a difference in the world.
The Class of 2030 brings together students from across North Carolina and the United States, each carrying a new story and a shared commitment to the Park pillars of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

This year marks the Park Scholarships’ 30th anniversary. The original proposal to establish the Park Scholarships stated, “An investment in the development of the talents and capabilities of highly motivated young people is an expression of faith in the future… a public service of untold value, providing generations of first-rate scholars and leaders to serve the state, nation, and world.”
“This class, like the 30 before them, will make the most of a world-class NC State University education to bring our founding vision to life,” said Eva Feucht ‘02, director. “The Class of 2030 joins a vibrant community of nearly 1,300 Park Scholars dedicated to driving change at scale. This cohort is a dynamic group of researchers, activists, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs and more, and possesses boundless potential.”
Since 1996, the Park Scholarships program has brought almost 1,300 exceptional students to NC State based on outstanding accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service and character. The program develops and supports Park Scholars in these areas, preparing them for lifelong contributions to the university, state, nation and world. The scholarship includes tuition and fees, room and board, enrichment activities, and additional expenses.
The Park Scholarships program is named for Roy H. Park ’31, an NC State alumnus who created the charitable Park Foundation, dedicated to education, media and the environment. Today, in addition to an endowment launched by the Park Foundation, the scholarship is supported by many additional donors. These include the Stamps Scholars Program and more than 30 additional endowments, including commitments for 15 endowed scholars to date. The awards fund study in any discipline at NC State.
