Ryan King ’15 and Taufik Raharjo ’16 Represent NC State at Student World Forum 2015

In April, Park Scholars Ryan King ’15 and Taufik Raharjo ’16 represented NC State at the Academic Consortium (AC21) Student World Forum 2015 in Strasbourg, France and Freiburg, Germany. AC21 is an international network of 19 educational, research, and industrial organizations around the world that aims to promote cooperation in education and research between members. NC State is one of only two member institutions from North and South America.

April Park Enrichment Grants Awarded

The Park Enrichment Grant committee made the following awards to Park Scholars who submitted proposals by the April 1 deadline.

Caroline Ellington ’13 Conducts Textile Research in Germany

posted 2012.12.13 Caroline Ellington ‘13 recently completed a research internship in Aachen, Germany. The internship, sponsored by UROP International, consisted of 40 students from the United States and Canada and involved individual research projects and intensive German language instruction. As a senior in textile engineering with a concentration in product development, Ellington developed biocomposite yarns from renewable, raw materials.
