Georgia Davis Brown ’06: A Park Scholar in Pack Athletics

Sitting in her guidance counselor’s office, high school senior and star athlete Georgia Davis Brown ‘06 looked over the blank application before her – and slid it back across the desk to her counselor, incredulous that she had what it took to be selected for a Park Scholarship.

Park Scholars Recognized at 19th Annual Undergraduate Research Spring Symposium

Kathleen Davis ‘12, Ellen Orabone ‘10, Adam Steiner ‘10, and Kathryn Westfall ‘10 were named winners at the 19th Annual North Carolina State University Undergraduate Research Spring Symposium on April 22. The event was sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research which identifies, creates, and promotes mentored research opportunities with NC State University faculty and other national and international experts. Raleigh Davis ’10 and Tyrone Keys, Jr. ’10 Receive College of Engineering Awards

Raleigh Davis ‘10 and Tyrone Keys, Jr. ‘10 received Outstanding Senior Awards at the 2010 Engineers’ Council Annual Awards Banquet this spring. Davis was presented with the Outstanding Senior Award for Scholarly Achievement. Originally from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering with a concentration in nanoscience. Davis completed several research projects at NC State University in the field of polymer engineering, including an award-winning study in nanofiber production. Park Scholar’s Study Abroad Experience

Park Scholar shares first hand his study abroad experience in southern France. I am Raleigh Davis, a student in chemical engineering and class of 2010 Park Scholar. This past summer I was presented with a marvelous opportunity to study abroad in the heart of southern France.
